Grief & Grace Walk 10.31.26

Grief & Grace Walk 10.31.26
Saturday, October 31st, 3-5pm.
Guided group walk on All Hallow’s Eve.
Join founding naturalist Laura Chávez Silverman to explore the magic and mysteries of the fall landscape on this day when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. Learn about the season of loss and how it affects everything in this ecosystem, including the physical and emotional body of humans. Observe and learn about local species, such as sassafras, wintergreen and witch hazel. We will discuss edible and medicinal properties, nibbling as we go. A wild-flavored trail snack is included. Space is limited and registration is required.
Location: Sullivan County, NY; details will be emailed to participants.
Of note: If you are holding grief—personal, collective, existential—this will be an opportunity for you to process some of your feelings. All ages and abilities are welcome.
