Guided Nature Walk - Saturday, September 27th, 3-5pm

Join founding naturalist Laura Chávez Silverman for a walk through the early fall landscape in Sullivan County. If the rain brings them out, we’ll look for mushrooms! Learn to identify edible and medicinal plants, as well as best practices for foraging. Discover the value in slowing down, paying attention and connecting with your local environment. A trail snack featuring wild flavors will be offered. Space is limited; registration is required.

Location: Sullivan County, NY. Meeting location and all details will be emailed directly to participants.

Of note: This is a rain or shine event, unless advance notice is given. Terrain is relatively easy; all ages and abilities are welcome.
