Guided Nature Walk - Sunday, August 3rd, 10am-12pm

Join founding naturalist Laura Chávez Silverman for a walk through the lush summer landscape in Sullivan County. With any luck, rain will have brought mushrooms for us to discover. Learn to identify edible and medicinal flora and fungi, and gain an understanding of best practices for foraging. Discover the value in slowing down, paying attention and connecting with your local environment. We’ll enjoy refreshments featuring wild flavors of the season. Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

Location: Sullivan County, NY. Meeting location and all details will be emailed directly to participants.

Of note: This is a rain or shine event, unless advance notice is given. Terrain is relatively easy; all ages and abilities are welcome.
