Solstice Walk 12.21.25

Solstice Walk 12.21.25
Sunday, December 21st, 10am-12pm.
Guided community walk on the Winter Solstice.
Join founding naturalist Laura Chávez Silverman for an invigorating and restorative walk through the wintry landscape of Lënapehòkink. We will observe the natural phenomena of the season and identify flora, fauna and fungi. On the occasion of the Winter Solstice, we will pay tribute to the shortest day of the year and to the indigenous traditions that mark the beginning of winter. A wildly delicious trail snack and warming drink are included. Space is limited; registration is required.
Location: Sullivan County, NY. Details will be emailed to participants.
Of note: Please dress in layers with gloves and hats, and wear appropriate boots for walking in wintry conditions. Bring ice cleats if you have them.
