Winter Forage 12.7.19

Saturday, December 7th, 2-4pm.

Guided foraging session in Sullivan County.

Laura Silverman, Founding Naturalist at TOI, leads fellow naturalists interested in learning about foraging for edible and medicinal flora and fungi.  We’ll walk through the late fall landscape, enjoying the clean air and observing whatever natural phenomena we encounter, which may include wintergreen, white pine, turkey tail and juniper berries. A foraging tote and fortifying trail snack will be provided. Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

Location: Exact meeting place will be emailed to participants.

Of note: We will not walk in extreme weather. Comfortable weatherproof footgear and protection from the elements are recommended.
