Guided walk along the Mongaup River.
Laura Silverman, Founding Naturalist at TOI, leads a walk for fellow naturalists interested in exploring the natural wonders of late fall. Observe and learn about native plants, trees and natural phenomena, including wild rhododendron, grape vines, lichen and a beaver dam. Visit a small private cemetery from the early 1800s. Limited to 10. A light trail snack is included.
Location: Exact meeting place will be emailed to you upon registration.
Of note: Bring your water bottle. Binoculars could come in handy. A notebook is provided to record your discoveries.
