Mountaindale Walk 10.20.18

25.00

Saturday, October 20th, 2-4PM. (Rain or shine.)

Guided nature walk, bonfire & tea tasting.

Visit Mountaindale and make a day of it, enjoying the shops and cafes that have sprung up in this sweet town. Laura Silverman, Founding Naturalist at TOI, leads fellow naturalists in exploring the local flora and fauna. We’ll walk from Main Street along a rustic trail to The Glen Wilde, a vintage bungalow colony reimagined for modern sensibilities. After warming ourselves around the bonfire, we’ll return to town for an herbal tea tasting with Hollie at Witchey Handmade plus wild-flavored snacks from The Outside Institute. Join us to experience the striking beauty of fall in Sullivan County. Limited spaces available. Registration is required.

Location: Mountaindale, NY. Exact meeting place will be emailed to participants.

Of note: Sunscreen, bug repellent and water bottle recommended.
