Sunday, November 25th, 11am-1pm. 

Guided walk along the Mongaup River. 

Laura Silverman, Founding Naturalist at TOI, leads a walk for fellow naturalists interested in exploring the natural wonders of fall. Observe and learn about native plants, trees and other natural phenomena, including wild rhododendron, grape vines, lichen and a beaver dam. Visit a small private cemetery from the early 1800s. Space is limited and registration is required. A fortifying trail snack is included.

Location: Mongaup River Trail and the intersection of Routes 97 and 31 in Deerpark, NY. GPS coordinates and details will be emailed to participants.

Of note: Bring your water bottle. Wearing bright colors is suggested.  Binoculars could come in handy.
